When the designers of AR Wear, developed the product, they had a simple idea in mind that “women and girls could have more power to control the outcome of a sexual assault.” With this, this New York-based company designed ultra-tight running shorts, travelling shorts, and underwear for women. They are “resistant to pulling, tearing and cutting.”

Buzzing Anti-rape Device

This angel-wing, buzzing anti-rape device will make a 90 decibel alarm sound when pulled. The device can be hanged on any bag and mobile phone. When in danger, just pull the rod’s personal alarm and it will scare the attacker or throw him off-guard, and get attention of any potential help nearby.

Now, this is one device that can work either as a necklace or as a bracelet. The “Guardian Angel” will help women to come out of an uncomfortable situation. All they need to do is to press the button, and then they will receive a fake call on their cell phone. And, if they hold the button for three seconds, it will send out an SOS text message to their emergency number, along with their location.
